Report a Scam
Spotted a fake photo, misleading ad or unsafe behaviour? Tell us. Every report is reviewed within 24 hours and helps keep CT Nyt safe for genuine clients and verified providers.
We take every report seriously. The faster you tell us, the faster we can take down a fake or fraudulent ad — protecting other clients from the same experience. All reports are confidential.
Report a Scam
- Advance-payment requests — anyone asking for UPI/bank transfer before meeting is a scammer. Genuine bookings on our platform are cash-on-meeting.
- Stolen or AI-generated photos — if photos look like Instagram models or change drastically across angles, it's likely fake.
- Bait-and-switch — gallery shows one woman, a different person turns up. Refuse the meeting and report immediately.
- Pressure tactics — "pay now or someone else will book", "lose this offer in 5 minutes" — never act on rushed messages.
- Fake video calls — pre-recorded loops or filtered calls used to "verify" identity. Insist on a live, unfiltered video before paying anything.
- Profile URL on our site (copy from your address bar).
- Date and approximate time of the interaction.
- What happened — short description, 2–4 sentences is enough.
- Phone number / WhatsApp ID the scammer used (if shared with you).
- Screenshots of the chat or the suspicious photo (optional but very helpful).
- Use our contact form and pick "Report a scam" as the topic.
- Or email report@ctnyt.com with subject line "Scam report — <profile name>".
- For ads on our site, you can also click the small flag icon on the profile page (where available) to report directly.
- Acknowledged within 24 hours.
- If the ad is fake or in violation, it is delisted immediately and the account banned.
- If pattern matches other reports, we share findings with the broader trust & safety team across our city directory.
- You will get a follow-up email when the action is complete. Your identity is never shared with the reported account.
- We are not a payment platform — we cannot recover funds sent off-platform. But we can still help.
- Report the UPI ID / bank account immediately to your bank's fraud line and to cybercrime.gov.in.
- Send us the same details so we can blacklist the account from our directory and warn other users.
- Always meet in a hotel or your own residence. Never go to a stranger's address.
- Never send money in advance. Cash, on meeting, only.
- Insist on a live (not pre-recorded) photo or video before agreeing to anything.
- If pricing keeps "moving up" mid-conversation, walk away.
- Keep messages on WhatsApp — easier to share with us if anything goes wrong.
